PIP EMEA presents the new safety footwear line PUMA® Safety TRAIL PROTECT – Work is your trail

With the new PUMA® Safety TRAIL PROTECT line, PIP EMEA brings new momentum to the performance safety footwear segment. With the slogan "Work is your trail", the collection is aimed at all those who face new challenges every day and are dependent on maximum performance, comfort and safety. Inspired by the dynamics of trail running, the models combine state-of-the-art technologies with robust functionality and sporty design.

The TRAIL PROTECT line was developed to master everyday work in any terrain with confidence. Whether on uneven ground, in industrial environments or working in the trades - these safety shoes offer outstanding grip, reliable stability and maximum comfort. The innovative IMPULSE.BLAST® midsole supports every step with its particularly responsive energy return and at the same time provides effective cushioning.

Maximum traction meets innovative cushioning

The heart of the TRAIL PROTECT models is the high-performance XTS TRAIL® outsole, which has been specially designed for demanding surfaces. The hard-wearing rubber outsole offers excellent grip on a wide variety of surfaces thanks to its ingenious lug profile and impresses with its self-cleaning properties. Wide flex grooves support the foot’s natural rolling motion and at the same time improve the water-displacing properties, so that optimum traction is guaranteed at all times.
As the perfect complement, the innovative IMPULSE.BLAST® midsole, takes lightness and responsiveness to a whole new level. It absorbs the force generated when your foot hits the ground, stores it and then releases it almost immediately. The result is a particularly soft yet dynamic running sensation that noticeably reduces strain for the wearer while actively supporting every step.

Comfort and protection in perfect balance

The FAP® LITE penetration protection, the latest generation of metal-free protection technology, provides additional safety. It is around 50 percent lighter than FAP®, offers impressively high flexibility and at the same time provides improved cushioning and pressure relief. Thanks to its breathable properties, it also supports a pleasant foot climate and ensures a high level of comfort even on long working days.

The evercushion® RELIEF footbed rounds off the comfort system perfectly. It is made up of two perfectly coordinated layers, including a memory foam surface that adapts individually to the shape of the foot and provides targeted cushioning where pressure is exerted. The layer underneath ensures lasting cushioning and effective pressure relief. In addition, moisture-wicking properties support a dry foot climate, while an integrated arch support promotes the natural foot position and activates the muscles.

Powerful equipment for every challenge

All models in the TRAIL PROTECT line are equipped with a robust fiberglass toe cap and are designed to be completely metal-free. They have ESD protection and a rubber outsole that is heat-resistant up to 300 °C, offering reliable performance even under extreme conditions. Combined with the all-terrain XTS TRAIL® sole and the highly responsive IMPULSE.BLAST® midsole, the result is a safety shoe that meets even the highest standards.

The collection comprises a total of six models, including four variants in protection class S3S, one model in class S7S and one model in class S1PS. The shoes are available in sizes 36 to 48 and are therefore designed for a wide range of users. The new PUMA® Safety TRAIL PROTECT collection will be available from specialist retailers and selected online shops from April 2026.
